Data Deletion Instructions

DigitalCPA is an automation service for accounting firms. A firm may connect its WhatsApp Business account to DigitalCPA through Meta's Embedded Signup.

Disconnecting WhatsApp. A firm can disconnect at any time, either from the DigitalCPA admin panel (WhatsApp tab → Settings → Disconnect official WhatsApp) or from Meta Business Settings → Integrations → Connected apps → remove DigitalCPA. On disconnect, the access tokens are deleted from our systems immediately and we stop sending and receiving messages on the firm's behalf.

Requesting deletion.

1. Email your request to digitalcpaa@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request", stating the firm name or the phone number the request concerns.
2. We will contact you to verify your identity and the scope of the request.
3. The data is deleted within 30 days of verification, and you receive written confirmation.

What is deleted. WhatsApp Business account and phone number identifiers and access tokens; message history and media sent or received through the service; contact details, documents and data the firm entered; and lead details submitted on our website or ad forms. Encrypted backups are purged on a fixed cycle. Data we are legally required to keep is retained only for the required period.

Clients of a firm. If you are a client of an accounting firm that uses DigitalCPA, your data is processed on the firm's behalf. Please contact your firm; we will assist it in fulfilling your request.
